the orange forest green beetle
the beetle is found in the western ghats in coorg india. It is a beautiful beetle. it all ways feed on the flower necter & little insect.
in kanada it is called bagnarda chippu, when it sits on the flower looks lovely.
Lifting a log from the Orange forest
The elephant in Orange Forest lifting a teak wood log for building an elephant training shed. This happens once every year in the month of June-July. The elephant which is trained only to know how to build a shed. The kadu kuruba (a tribe) use the elephants as much as possible. This elephant is called Parashurama.
